Penners and Feathers

 All Whistling Ducks need winter protection in our cold winter climate. Unlike other ducks they incapable of fully tucking in there long legs, leading to easy frost bite.  .  As with most whistling ducks both parents incubate and raise the young. They proved to be excellent parents with all chicks hatched raised.   We currently are   breeding   a new   imported   bloodline.
